Artwork rights

You warrant that any materials that you submit to us for printing (the “Materials”) do not infringe on the intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark rights, of any third party. You also agree to indemnify Sprink and hold it harmless as to any claims, damages, losses and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of or resulting from claims that the Materials infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties. We accept no liability or responsibility for any copyright infringements within the artwork you send us.

Sprink cannot accept any responsibility for lost artwork files in the My Gallery section of your online account.

Product label proofing

All product label jobs at Sprink are custom-produced specifically to your individual requirements. Accordingly, we insist on every job being “proofed” for your explicit approval before going into production. Due to the broad differences in technology used by computers and monitors, electronic proofs are not a reliable indication of colours produced by our digital printing presses, and such proofs should only be used to check for content and layout (not colour). Your approval of an electronic product label proof absolves us of any liability for colour differences unless it can be shown to be a production error outside the normal range of professional print quality.

If colour is critical to your job, please request a Press Proof – which is the only reliable means of producing an accurate representation of your artwork on our presses. Please note that Press Proofs do involve extra delays and costs – please contact us for further details.

Limitation of liability

Sprink accepts no liability for any ancillary damages incurred by you (the customer) for any printing errors, regardless of fault, beyond replacement of the erroneous labels.

Refund policy

Due to the custom nature of our work, all orders are final once you have approved the product label proofs. No changes of any kind can be made once approval is given. Sprink cannot accept any responsibility for erroneous content, colours, quantities, materials, or any other factor unless errors in the production process adversely affected the final results. If you have inadvertently made a mistake in your order and the results are not to your needs, we will devote our best efforts to minimising the cost and inconvenience of any re-runs required. Beyond that assurance, see “Limitation of Liability” above.

Label printing

We strive to print all your labels (plus a few extra) but label printing is a complex process, and when an issue arises in the final stages, we have no way to recover without starting over – which would involve significant time and waste. In a situation where there is a 10% or less shortage, we do not go back to press, but instead we refund the full amount of the shortage.
